Bolsonaro cai nas pesquisas, é alvo de denúncias e o povo vai às ruas contra ele. Acuado? Nada. Ele vai para o ataque com mais força ainda, já que sempre está no ataque, seu ambiente político. Os bolsonaristas, apesar de cada dia em menor número, não bambeiam: GloboLixo, Lulanunca, coisa e tal. Vão pra cima. É vencer ou morrer.

Até há pouco, Lula estava nesse tudo ou nada direto e renhido. Agora contra-ataca pelos flancos: a da construção política de sua candidatura. Bate em Bolsonaro, mas o foco está nas alianças, na consolidação de seu nome como uma via de pacificação. Lula constrói enquanto o presidente luta para destruir os inimigos a qualquer custo, e se destrói reincidente na estratégia que o elegeu. Quem vai para o confronto é seu eleitorado. Para esses, a lua mortal continua.

Não estamos vendo o fim do mundo. Estamos acompanhando o jogo político como ele sempre é. Em política, só não vale perder, ensina a velha máxima. E tudo pode contra aquele que te enfraquece. O problema está no que verdadeiramente está em jogo: a vida de mais de 200 milhões de brasileiros. A nossa vida. E aí entra um componente, assim, macabro: em vez de reação contra isso que está aí, o que vemos: todo mundo no jogo. Torcendo e jogando.

Torcendo para um ou outro vencer, e não para o povo, porque na prática jogando contra o próprio patrimônio público, já que só o patrimônio privado, o deles, aumenta de fato, e na verdade. Desse jeito que vemos vacinas serem negociadas não para salvarem vidas, mas para engordarem contas em paraísos fiscais. É assim que temos arminhas em punho como se fossem a salvação do País, embora o que elas impliquem é em balas, que alimentam guerras, que destroem e matam em nome da paz.

A percepção do jogo, do que está em jogo e de quem são os jogadores, é um dos primeiros passos para alguém não ser derrotado no leito do hospital, na fila do pão, na porta da escola, na loja da esquina, no caminho da roça. A política manda muito, o que quer dizer que os políticos têm poder, sim. Agora, tudo depende do eleitor, na hora do voto, e dos cidadãos que nunca deixamos de ser. Se votamos bem, teremos bons políticos.

E como saber, como “adivinhar” se um político é bom ou ruim? Pesquisando sobre sua vida, suas atitudes, seu pensamento, antes, durante e depois da eleição. Se todos fizerem isso em vez de gastar o tempo oferecendo o voto pela melhor proposta – em dinheiro e benefícios pessoais -, e depois, reclamando e xingando como se não tivesse nenhuma responsabilidade, aí tudo será diferente. Elementar, meu caro eleitor cidadão.

E não se enganem. Tudo passa, menos o Jornalismo. Jornalismo que desconfia, especialmente de quem está no poser, e do qual se desconfia também – mas como exercício dialético, e não como como fonte de maldade em princípio-, informa. O que deforma é outra coisa: o caráter (a falta) e a desonestidade. E isso estará sempre no ser humano. O ser jornalista e o ser leitor. Quem for santo que atire a primeira pedra.
