Fosse eu o técnico da Seleção Brasileira, os tempos seriam outros e a minha escalação começaria com um nome in-ques-ti-o-ná-vel: Taxinha.

Quem viu o Taxinha jogar na velha quadra de Vianópolis, ali na Estrada de Ferro, sabe do que estou falando.

Vai me dizer que ele jogava futebol de salão, que hoje chamam de Futsal, e não campo, e que isso não conta em se tratando de Copa do Mundo? Ora, conta, sim. Conta tudo. Estamos falando da minha Seleção e nela o Taxinha é titular e o resto é resto.

Teve uma noite memorável em que o Taxinha divinamente mitou.

Final de campeonato, quadra superlotada, torcida agitadíssima, jogo truncado, e ele de uniforme novinho, completo, impecável, como jamais visto em tempo algum ou em qualquer partida na cidade e região.

Nunca tínhamos visto o Taxinha, menino de ponta de rua, bruto nas esquinas, tão engomado, tão domado pela falta evidente da sua principal característica, a indulgência de menino do interior. Tão u-ni-for-mi-za-do.

Um ser de outro planeta, e por isso um delírio para todos nós, tão acostumados com sua sujeira, seus palavrões e sua incrível inaptidão para a vida sem estilingue e o riso frouxo.

Mas o time dele estava perdendo e a gente via que ele agitava a cabeça contrariado, estava sofrendo, evidentemente tava sofrendo. E de repente, não mais que de repente, olha o Taxinha tirando o tênis novo, o meião levantado até o joelho, gritando pra torcida todas as pragas que arrancava do fundo da carne, e o povo em polvorosa, extasiado, maravilhado com o ídolo se desnudando todo aos seus olhos, despudoradamente, voltando a ser o único que ele conseguia ser completamente.

E o Taxinha fez o impossível: virou o jogo, com sua arma mortal, uma bicuda indefensável, sem chance para goleiro. Uma, não. Várias. Bicudas com tamanha força que, se erravam o gol, estremeciam a mureta que separava a quadra da torcida enlouquecida.

Descalço, na ponta do dedo dos pés, Taxinha fez história mundial em Vianópolis.

Indescritível momento. Impagável aventura sobre-humana. Intraduzível algazarra do coração, de corações sacudidos na plateia daquele imprevisível espetáculo. Taxinha nunca é de perder. E ganhar é com a gente.

Eu só vivi emoção parecida no dia em que o Neim me chamou no banco de reserva e mandou entrar em campo, no antigo campão de terra perto do cemitério, aos 38 minutos do segundo tempo, e de repente, não mais que de repente, na ponta direita, driblei o lateral adversário com a habilidade de um Garrincha e, na chegada do goleiro, chutei por cima com a categoria de um Pelé, a bola indo calma e carinhosamente parar lá no fuuuunnndo do gol. Golaço! I-nes-que-cí-vel! In-tra-du-zí-vel!

O antigo campão de Vianópolis tem tradição. Lá, bem jovem, eu vi seleção nossa derrubar seleção alheia e manter em nível estratosférico o orgulho nacional, que é local.

Tinha o Jair da Nega, um monstro no domínio da bola e na contenção dos atacantes inimigos, temido dentro de campo, mas também fora, por razões que só aqueles que o desafiavam podiam compreender, embora tarde demais nesta vida.

Estrela inconteste como Cristiano Ronaldo é hoje, Jair da Nega me protegia, brincava comigo, ria de dar medo e não me deixava temer ninguém. Fazia-me sentir na beira do campo, especial, como aquele torcedor protegido pelo ídolo, preferido entre tanto, o escolhido na multidão.

Foi do campão de terra, inclinado só um pouco, que saíram os irmãos Carlos Alberto Santos e Cláudio, o Cadinho. Cadinho jogava no Goiatuba, chegava em Vianópolis e era imediatamente escalado para a seleção de Futsal no sábado à noite, e no domingo de manhã, ele fazia parte de um dos times que ia pra roça disputar o campeonato local, e a tarde era integrante, titular absoluto da seleção do município que jogava contra quem quer que fosse e ganhava. Um fenômeno!

Carlos Alberto, que jogou com Zico e esteve na Seleção Brasileira, no Botafogo, foi descoberto pelo Goiás lá no campão. Carlos Alberto rodou o mundo, mas nunca saiu da nossa satisfação de conterrâneo.

Pra ver o Carlinhos jogar no Serra Dourada, a gente saía de Vianópolis em comitiva, viajava mais de 80 quilômetros em chão batido até Goiânia, tudo isso especialmente para, no final da partida, receber um aceno dele lá do campo. Um aceno: ápice de uma saga de apaixonados por futebol.

O Taxinha explica a vida, justifica o futebol e esclarece a alma de jogador e torcedor. Está escalado, é titular, não tem nem discussão.

Inclusive, na Rússia, quem vai entrar em campo sou eu. Estou preparado, fui condicionado fisicamente pelo professor Everson, desabalado psicologicamente pela turma da rua de baixo, nas nossas peladas, e escalado pelo Neim, como já dei prova de testemunho.

Não fosse isso, tenho ainda no meu currículo o fato de que era um daqueles garotos que esperavam dar meia noite pra poder entrar na quadra iluminada, porque era nessa hora que os mais velhos iam embora e a gente podia finalmente correr, jogar e gritar, antes que o funcionário da prefeitura apagasse as luzes para todo mundo ir dormir em paz, embora agitados, nos sonhos que a gente tinha de virar jogador, de ser uma estrela mundial.

A gente era uma multiplicação de times. Mesmo hoje, é só dar um assobio, um chutão pra cima, que antes da bola bater de volta no chão, o time está formado, como sempre. Amigos são assim: na recordação, na imaginação, não tem tempo ruim.

Eu me vejo com mais de 90 anos – porque não pretendo ir antes, talvez até mais-, chegando no céu e, em vez de Sermão da salvação da alma, sendo recebido com um grito desesperado, conhecido… “Vai lá, Vassil, na ponta direita, e não dá moleza não!”

A ponta direita: o meu paraíso na terra e a minha ambição de eternidade. E olha que nunca fui bom de bola. E precisa? Pra quem joga com a emoção?

Com os pés aqui, estarei em campo na Rússia. Esperando um aceno do Neymar, regozijando-me com o choro e o riso por antecipação. Aguardando o momento em que o Taxinha perderá a paciência com a vida como ela é, para atirar longe a chuteira e dar uma bicuda no coração.
