O senhor ouviu aí o Neymar sobre o que ele está sentindo na véspera da estreia na Rússia, o que ele espera dessa Copa, ele falou pouco mas falou bonito, pra nenhum media training botar defeito, e aí eu pensei: o senhor não quer me ouvir não? Quer sim?
Sou apenas um torcedor, mas por trás desse sorriso verde-amarelo de arquibancada para as câmeras de TV e novesfora as frases de efeito para a imprensa, tenho sentimentos profundos – e complexos. Garanto. Esse corpinho de atleta de fim de semana carrega uma alma esgotada a semana inteira, e isso tanto quer dizer cerveja quanto não quer dizer nada, ou tudo na mesma hora. Como eu disse.
Fisicamente falando, aguento umas onze latinhas em qualquer beirada de campo. Psicologicamente suspirando, vou precisar de outras onze só pra, quem sabe, entrar no clima mundial.
Pra ir pra a Rússia torcer para o Brasil como gostaria, e como todo mundo espera de todo brasileiro que não negue a sua raça – raça de torcedor –, primeiro eu precisaria me entender com o outro Brasil, o que está em jogo em Brasília. Entende?
Sei que, para esse Brasil, eu fui escalado, colocado em campo, e deixado à própria sorte. Não sei é para onde eu chuto, não sei onde está o gol e muito menos sei quem é esse que toda hora me acerta a canela, passa uma rasteira e acerta a traseira. E que cotovelada foi essa?, pergunto ao senhor.
No placar nacional, está estampado: o Brasil que entrará em campo na Rússia tem a seu favor a esperança nacional; o Brasil que está em campo nas ruas, cidades e na roça, segue perdendo de goleada, tendo contra a desesperança individual.
Me explica, seu repórter: derrotados por nós, como é que vamos ganhar dos que se juntarem contra nós?
Não quer dizer que devemos desistir, não senhor… quer dizer que falam que o futebol é uma caixinha de surpresas, e queira Deus que isso seja verdade, que lá na frente a gente ganhe de algum jeito… que essa sensação de que, jogando limpo, só os sujos levam a melhor, não chegue à alma… e que essa certeza de que Brasília está cheia de Pelés jogando contra a gente, seja substituída de fato por um escrete de ouro que faça do trabalho em equipe motivo de orgulho para todos, e não exemplo de ação em quadrilha para os bens de uns.

Mas voltando à pergunta lá do início, a que o senhor não me fez, digo que sinto mais do que penso. Mas penso o seguinte: o Brasil que está perdendo, não se entende a não ser nos extremos, quando amor e ódio ficam mais perto não por aproximação, mas por distanciamento da origem.
Por ora, não há entrosamento no horizonte desse Brasil. Só que no outro, há. Veja que o Brasil que sai de dentro desse outro Brasil, o que vai para a Rússia, é capaz de promover a união nos termos possíveis, sem unanimidade, no entanto com amor e ódio convergindo numa só direção: a taça, o hexa, o gol tantas vezes repetido que ultrapasse, em um lance, coração e cérebro – não como espada; como luz.
No fundo, no fundo, temos um Brasil a comemorar, é o que posso entender de dizer. Nem que seja no futuro imperfeito de um pretérito de incertezas conjugado no presente.
